The relation between my personal experience and observations from Bangladesh as a stranger and the surrounding context created natural dialogues and meanings that translated to contradictory kind of feelings such as excitement and melancholia. The work is my reflection of thoughts and feelings about the Bangladeshi migrant worker in Malaysia, the only subject that I can relate to myself as Malaysian with Bangladesh people.

Using used materials such as bricks that I have inspired during my journey from Dhaka to Kushtia. The bricks represent the strong spirit of Bangladeshi migrant workers who are searching for fortunes for their loved ones with the goal of creating their own dream house. The use of dripped blue paint is my personal gestural expression of them. The overall structure and format of this installation is a representation of the house.
