Metamorphosis of tradition: political Narratives from Kushtia's Popular Visual culture
Type of Art: Installation
Description:
This art project seeks to bridge the rich cultural heritage of Kushtia with contemporary political discourse by transforming popular visual images. Drawing inspiration from traditional rickshaw paintings, household motives, and everyday objects like cow dung sticks and dal bori, the artwork aims to dematerialize their conventional functions, infusing them with new meanings. Through this transformative exploration of Kushtia's visual culture, the project aims to provoke contemplation, foster dialogue, and contribute to a nuanced understanding of the region's cultural and political dynamics.
